“Giving Up The Ghost” is a bittersweet reflection on love, loss, and the struggle to truly release someone who once meant everything, and despite trying to let go and move on, you’re still haunted by thoughts of them and the pain of betrayal.
The song was written by late band member Joe Cole, and we dedicate it to the family he left behind after the tragedy of his passing. In our own way as a band, the song for us is also about letting go of Joe and moving on with the band despite the difficulties of always remembering the good (and bad) times of the past.
The track was recorded at The Bass Station Studios in Parkhurst, Johannesburg, mixed & mastered by Barry Berk and produced by Barry Berk & Crystal Park.
