
City of Lakes (2011)
CRYSTAL PARK ’s debut album “City of Lakes” was recorded and released over 6 months in 2011.
Acclaimed South African Alt-country legend Jim Neversink states: “Well done Crystal Park – Great sound! Their demos alone kick the hell out of most of the polished bands around- keep it raw.”

The album was recorded over 6 months at 3 different recording studios, and was Engineered and mixed by then-members of the band Kevin Hall and Tenn Elliot.
The album was mastered at Kingsfleet Audio in Johannesburg by Des Grey. “We had a great time Mastering the Crystal Park album,” says Des. “These guys are definitely a kick-ass country band that I can only imagine will tear crowds apart at a live show…”
The Stables Fade (2013)
After the successful release of their debut album ‘City of Lakes’ in 2012, CRYSTAL PARK released their sophomore release: ‘The Stables Fade’.
Recorded over 40 days between May and October 2013, the album was engineered and mixed by Tenn Elliot at Tenn Elliot studios in Benoni and produced by Tenn Elliot and the band themselves.
The album was mastered by Gary Potter in October 2013.
The album deals with change, loss, growth, renewal and songs which focus on stories from the East Rand and city life in general.
